Happy Easter! ... tweet, tweet

Hello friends!

Happy Easter!

Today I'm sharing a cute birdie card that I created for a ScrapMuch? Card Class!

This card is pretty simple!  I used the twine to tie around the card (no adhesive) and used some birdie stickers and some pop dots to anchor and add some "weight" to the twine --- this way it actually looks like the birds might be sitting on the wire!!

Thank You (with a cool fold card)

Hello friends!

Today I'm sharing a really cool and fun folding card that I created for a ScrapMuch? Card Class!

I used a simple brad and thank you pennant to adorn the front of this card.  I had to make sure that there wasn't anything too bulky on the front that would prevent the card from easily folding!

I then designed the "inside" so that there would be an easy spot to write the message ... but still enough fun and patterns so that you want to sit this card up to display it!

Tulips!

Hello there!

I'm at the ScrapMuch? retreat today ... so I thought I'd share a lovely gift bag that I designed for one of the classes this weekend ...

I kept the tag white ... this way the bag could be personalized (depending on the gift-giving occasion :)

I used the same colour ink as the tulips to edge the flowers ... this gives a fun added effect!

I used lots of pop dots to add dimension and create a 3-D effect ... I love how "life-like" the tulips are!

MME: A Moment to Cherish ...with die-cuts

Hello friends,

Today I'm sharing a layout that I created recently using the My Mind's Eye Nostalgia paper-pack.  I am creating this layout for a gift album that I am going to be giving to my sister (shhhh, don't tell ...)

I created this layout with the My Mind's Eye march challenge in mind ... a challenge to use the die-cuts that come with a paper pack!  Well ... let me tell you ... this is the easiest challenge for me, because I just LOVE using the die-cuts... for cards, layouts, mini-albums etc!

Here is the layout that I created!

As you can see ... I used a few die-cuts for the perfect journalling spot!  (Obviously to be filled in after the pictures are added :)

Another couple of die-cuts (and matching brads) ... the perfect sport for a date or sub-title.

I even used the paper-pack packaging to create my title!  I ran the packaging through the silhouette and cut out the title ---- If you look closely, you can see that I used a journalling pen to "doodle" on the letters to outline them and make them a bit more defined!
