Baby baby!

Hello!

Today I'm sharing a baby card that I created ... featuring an ultrasound pic!

I used lots of sewing to add that little bit "extra" to the card!

I love all the fun patterns and bright colours!  The monkey Epiphany epoxy piece at the top of the card adds the perfect bit of fun!

Now ... I decided to have some fun on the inside of the card ... it was created for a baby shower :)

I used various stickers from the collection plus some mini alphas ... the perfect way to create that fun sentiment!

And finally, because the card was such a large and odd shaped card, I created an accompanying envelope ...using some simple brads and ribbon for the fastener.

We are the Champions!

Hello!

Today I'm sharing a card created with lots of numbers for the Scrap It Girl Challenge!

I used my sewing machine to create some fun border effects (and to outline the path of my Epiphany epoxy banner).  I also used some eyelets to add that little bit extra!

"Our Little One" Baby Album - Part 5 of 5

Hello my friends!

I'm back with the final few pages from the baby album that I have been sharing over the last week or two!

I love this set of pages ... so fun and colourful!

This page has to be one of my favourites ... I love the sentiment, the banner and the cute little bear.  I even did some paint misting across the grass to add some extra impact!

A simple page ... with the perfect spot for a nice big photo!

And finally the back cover ... I keep it flat so that nothing gets smushed if it is sitting on its back.  I like the "later gator" strip ... so funny and fitting for the end of an album!

Now ... presentation is also important when creating a baby album ... so when I spotted these lovely white boxes at a party store, I knew they were must haves for my mini albums!

I added the ribbons myself ... attaching them so that the lid could be lifted off without having to undo the bow.

And last but not least, the baby album was wrapped in tissue paper and carefully placed in the box :)

Thanks for checking in!  I hope that you have been inspired by this baby album!

LGS reveal - Let Me Count the Ways

Hello all --- this is post #2 today ... please scroll down for my Made Especially for You posting!

It's Monday ... and you know what that means ... It's Lets Get Sketchy Reveal time!!!!

This week you are being challenged to create a layout based on the following lovely sketch:

And this is my take on the sketch!

I had some fun with washi tape on this layout ... its an easy way to anchor a lonesome piece of chipboard!

Here I've clustered a few of the pre-made embellishments that came with this collection along with a patterned button.  The black bows add a lovely yet subtle accent to the cluster!

Another lovely long title ... I'm loving the different fonts and the vinyl Thickers that I used for the word "count".

Don't forget to head on over to Lets Get Sketchy to see what amazing layouts the other Lets Get Sketchy team members have created!

MEFY - Paper Piecing - You're A Hoot!

Hello, hello, hello!
Welcome to this week's Made Especially For You designer reveal!

The challenge this week is sponsored by Paper Piecings by Nikki ... and we have been challenged to create a card using the paper piecing technique.

I chose to use a fun Owl punch to create some fun paper pieced owls!  The tree was created with a die cut & I extended some of the branches to make room for the owls.

Googly eyes were the perfect way to make this card super fun!  I love how colourful this card is!

Don't forget to head over to the Made Especially For You blog to see the rest of the design team creations and to play along yourself!

"Our Little One" Baby Album - Part 4 of 5

Hello my friends!

I'm back with a few more pages from the baby album that I have been sharing over the last week!  There is one more post to complete this album, so don't forget to check back regularly to see the rest!

I have made good use of my sewing machine throughout this album.  I had fun playing around with stitches, but often I gravitate back to the zig zag or straight stitch!

I had lots of fun with this page ... the "our little monkey" sentiment has been covered in liquid glass to create some additional dimension and sheen!

The tiny tags for this pocket were created with lots of room for journalling!

And the reverse side ... embellished with a simple epoxy heart.

Lots of room for photos on this page ...

And some more bright and colourful pages!  When working on something like this, it is important to make use of all aspects of the paper collection ... and the dancing strip of monkeys was one of them!

I split a journalling tag across the bottom in order to make room for a larger picture at the top of the page!

I love how bright this page is ... and that purple elephant is just so cute!

A sweet little "counting our blessings" tag ...

and a simple tag on the back, with spots for photos or to record some memories!

Thanks for checking in today!

Don't forget to check back in a few days to see the final pages of this album!

"Our Little One" Baby Album - Part 3 of 5

Hello my friends!

I'm back with a few more pages from the baby album that I began to share a few days ago!  There will be 2 more posts to complete this album, so don't forget to check back regularly to see the rest!

I know I've said before that this collection was a lot of fun ... and I definitely enjoyed all of the bright colours!

This is another fun pocket ... lots of detail on this one, including a "sweet" epoxy banner :)

The tags have the perfect spots to journal and to glue photos ...

I definitely got good use out of my tab punch ... the perfect way to complete a tag :)

I love this giraffe (after I managed to get him cut out).  I am also a big fan of my grass punch and often layer it to create a fun grassy impact :)

More spots for some photos here ... notice how I'm using many many colours everywhere ... this helps keep it gender neutral!

A simple page, but will fill right up once the photos have been attached!

Another fun tag pocket ... lots of available spots for jotting down some memories!

... another picture/journalling tag ...

And the reverse side ... I've been making use of my Epiphany epoxy maker for some simple but effective embellishment.

Thanks for stopping in today!
Don't forget to check back again for the 2 remaining posts to share this album creation!

ScrapMuch? Sketch-Y Friday Reveal!!! - Waterfront

Happy Friday!

Woohooo!!!  I'm back with a ScrapMuch? Sketch-Y Friday reveal!!!!

Check out ScrapMuch? for the challenge details ... basically you have the rest of August to play along and if you enter 2 challenges this month --- you'll be entered in a random drawing for an awesome scrappy prize!!

This week's sketch is another oh so wonderful sketch by the talented Laura Whitaker.

And this is my take on the sketch!

I had a lot of fun with this summery collection ... there were lots of tags and stickers for me to choose from!

Here I am with another long multi font title ... I'm really loving the mixture of different colours and alphas!

You can see here that I decided to skew my photos on different angles (different from the sketch).  Ultimately, I didn't have the right size photos ... so I made it work for me!

Thanks for checking in today!

My precious ...

Hi there!

Today I'm sharing a card created based on the following Authentique sketch:

This card has been created using Authentique's Miracle Baby Girl collection!

I used my sewing machine to create a few of the elements on this card ... and also brought in a background shape ... I like the various greys of this collection juxtaposed against the pinks!

Thanks for checking in!
